QPR reassure Hughes his job his safe
Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has once again voiced his support for manager Mark Hughes, following the club's 1-1 draw with Reading on Sunday.
Hughes has come under tremendous pressure recently following a winless start to the season. However, on numerous occasions Fernandes has made a point of backing his manager.
QPR came from behind to rescue a point against Reading, seen as a match the former Blackburn boss dare not lose, leading the club's chief to take to his Twitter account to insist he has total faith in Hughes.
He tweeted: "A game of two halves. Players getting used to Premier League and different type of teams. Keep calm we will come good. Plenty of time. Many [opportunities] to win the game. I'm calm. Won't please everyone. But as I keep saying stability is key."
On Friday Hughes stated that he did not believe his future at the west London club was in doubt and that it was only a matter of time before he would turn the side's fortunes around. QPR are currently 19th in the Premier League, with just four points from ten games.
