Mancini's Monaco fury

Roberto Mancini has expressed his frustration with repeated questions about his future at Manchester City.

The Italian has led City to FA Cup and Premier League glory in the past two years, but his future continues to be speculated upon and it was revealed last week that he held talks with Monaco.

Last Friday, Mancini reaffirmed his commitment to City - insisting he had no intention of leaving before the end of his contract in 2017 - but the questions continue to rain down on the former Inter Milan boss.

Mancini is preparing his side for a must-win Champions League clash with Ajax, a game he admits to having serious injury problems, but he was again asked about his future. And it prompted a spiky response.

"I don't understand why you continue to ask me about last year, last month," Mancini said. "This is finished. Why? For which reason? You continue to ask me 'last year you had a chance to go'.

"I stay here because my work is here. I work for two years. I am with the owner and chairman of this team. We won two trophies in two years. For 15 years we never won.

"I don't understand why you continue to ask me this."
