Hugo Lloris has admitted he is finding life "difficult" at Tottenham and refused to pledge his long-term future to the club.

The keeper arrived at White Hart Lane from Lyon in the summer, but has found himself behind veteran Brad Friedel in manager Andre Villas-Boas' goalkeeping pecking order.

Lloris' situation at Tottenham has seen France coach Didier Deschamps cast doubt on whether the keeper will retain his place for the national side despite being captain.

Having to content himself with appearances in the Capital One Cup and Europa League, Lloris is clearly frustrated by his lack of regular action.

"Right now, we take what there is to take. Is it hard? Yes, a little," Lloris told L'Equipe. "I'm training, I do the maximum, and the coach has made his choice.

"This is difficult, and it's also difficult to accept, but such questions must also be asked to the coach.

"I just stay professional. When you're a competitor, you want to be on the pitch."

When asked whether he would be seeking a move away from Tottenham, Lloris replied: "I'm just a player."
