Happy Tevez focused on City

Carlos Tevez claims he is content in his personal life and now focused on success at Manchester City.

A little over a year ago, Tevez was persona non grata at City after going AWOL following a bust-up with manager Roberto Mancini.

Club and player eventually settled their differences and Tevez returned to play a part as City lifted the Premier League trophy.

The Argentina international now has his family with him in Manchester, which he says has eased any worries he had, and the 28-year-old is ready to show his true worth to City.

"I have changed my outlook on life in general," Tevez said ahead of City's must-win Champions League clash with Real Madrid. "A very important factor is the fact I have all my family here in Manchester, which makes me very happy.

"I am not worrying about the things I used to worry about, I am just concentrating on enjoying my time out on the field.

"My concerns, the things I concentrate on at the moment, are training and playing."

City head into the game bottom of Group D and are not guaranteed to qualify even if they win their final two games. City boss Mancini will be without left back Gael Clichy on account of an ankle injury, while striker Mario Balotelli is doubtful.

Manchester City player to watch:
Yaya Toure was the driving force behind Manchester City's push to Premier League glory last season, with his consistent excellence seeing him stand above all others. He's looked more like a mere mortal this season, but with his side needing a big result he has the stage to show he is still the main man.

Real Madrid player to watch:
With this match being win at all costs for City, they are likely to throw the kitchen sink at Real. This will put Real keeper Iker Casillas in the spotlight and he has had a few shaky moments this season.
