Koscielny set to miss three weeks

Laurent Koscielny is set to miss up to three weeks after suffering injury in the Premier League game against Everton.

Koscielny, 27, was replaced in the fourth minute by Kieron Gibbs and manager Arsene Wenger confirmed the bad news afterwards.

"He has a groin strain. That's usually three weeks," Wenger said.

The Frenchman is likely to miss the Premier League games against Swansea, West Brom and Reading as well as the Champions League game with Olympiakos and the Capital One Cup quarter-final against Bradford.

Meanwhile, Wenger has called for urged the need for more cutting edge in attack after watching a third draw in four league games for his side.

"Hopefully we can go from strength to strength. We have the spirit. I feel we have some room for improvement in the final third," he said.

"Overall, when you have the spirit, you have a chance. We have to show that now. We have to be consistent."
