Gareth Bale has reiterated he is eager to take his talents to foreign shores at some point with the winger opening the door to an exit from Tottenham.

Bale, 23, has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the last few months and admitted last week that the prospect of moving overseas excites him.

Bale only signed a new long-term contract with Spurs earlier this year, but when asked again if he would leave White Hart Lane for Europe he reiterated his desire to try another culture.

"It would be nice to experience other leagues and other cultures," Bale said. "I've always said I'm not afraid to go abroad. If the times comes and a team that's right comes in for me, then I'll look at it seriously. I'll see what happens.

"Everybody wants to be playing in the Champions League. Obviously we were unfortunate not to get in there last season but the UEFA Europa League is the next best thing.

"We've all put 100% in every game we have played, we've taken the competition seriously and hopefully we can win this one."
