Hulk has sparked speculation over his future after suggesting he could leave Zenit St Petersburg in January.

Zenit beat Chelsea to the Brazilian's signature in the summer, but he has now hinted he could be set for an early exit if his issues with coach Luciano Spalletti are not resolved.

The Brazilian was substituted in the 80th minute of Zenit's 1-0 win over AC Milan on Tuesday night, forcing him to ponder a January move.

"I feel fine in St Petersburg, my family is fine and my son is fine," Hulk told Premium Calcio. "But if the situation with Luciano Spalletti does not resolve itself, I could leave in January. I don't know if Italy would be my destination, but anything can happen."

Spalletti fired back at the striker, insisting the club would not be impacted by the threats.

"Hulk does and says what he wants," Spalletti said. "I will have no qualms about replacing him again."
