The Metropolitan Police has said it will take no further action against a man who was arrested after he was pictured making an alleged racist gesture during the Capital One Cup tie between Chelsea and Manchester United.

The 28-year-old man, sitting amongst Chelsea supporters, was pictured making a monkey gesture during match, which the London club won 5-4 after extra time.

Chelsea had banned him from Stamford Bridge pending the outcome of the investigation.
