Harry Redknapp claims he has been offered Wesley Sneijder, but the Queens Park Rangers boss has played down the prospect of the Dutch midfielder making the move to West London.

Sneijder's future at Inter Milan is a hot topic of debate, as he has fallen out of favour at the Serie A club. Nerazzurri head coach Andrea Stramaccioni has insisted the Dutchman's absence from his team is a tactical decision, while others at the club have suggested it is because he has not signed a new deal.

It has been widely speculated Sneijder would move in the January transfer window, although quotes attributed to his wife which claimed they were all set to 'emigrate' were played down.

The midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League, Tottenham and Manchester United have been credited with an interest, and Redknapp has claimed agents are working on moving him on.

"I was asked by one agent if I wanted to sign Sneijder," Redknapp told the Sun. "Of course I do. However, he's on about £200,000 a week and now he wants to join QPR?

"I won't name the agent, but let's just say I think a deal is unlikely."
