Benitez unsure if Terry will start against Arsenal

A decision has not been made on whether Chelsea captain John Terry will return to the team to face Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

Interim manager Rafael Benitez was hoping to make a decision on Friday but adverse weather conditions disrupted his plans to assess Terry in training.

"We haven't decided because the training pitch today wasn't in the best condition," Benitez said. "The session was a bit different so we will see tomorrow.

"He was training with the team and he was fine. There was no problem so we will see after tomorrow's session.

"It's important to have players with character on the pitch, especially if you want to manage the game well. We are working very hard with John and will see how he feels."
