Atletico Madrid forward Adrian Lopez is not getting carried away by the speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal.

Lopez, 25, is reportedly attracting interest from the Gunners with manager Arsene Wenger looking to bolster his squad before the end of the transfer window.

The Spain international has a £15 million release clause in his contract, but with no club yet to have triggered it, Lopez is ignoring all transfer talk.

"I am happy here and it is my intention to continue here," he said. "I try to isolate myself from the rumours. We are used to them and do not take them seriously. I am very happy at Atletico.

"The good thing at the moment is that the team is doing very well. I would like to stay for a while yet."

Despite playing second fiddle to Radamel Falcao at Atletico, Lopez is still a vital asset to the club, having scored ten goals in their victorious Europa League campaign last season.
