John Terry is set to make a return to the Chelsea starting line-up in Sunday's FA Cup fourth round tie against Brentford at Griffin Park.

Skipper Terry has not started for Chelsea since picking up a knee injury against Liverpool back in November, yet the club's interim boss Rafa Benitez has confirmed his talisman is ready to complete his comeback.

"Terry has been training again and he is fine, maybe he will have a chance at Brentford," confirmed Benitez. "He was doing really well in the training sessions and was on the bench at Stoke last weekend just in case we needed him. He will have a chance to play on Sunday."

Meanwhile, Benitez has challenged his players to bounce back from the disappointment of their Capital One Cup demise at Swansea on Wednesday night, as he admits there has been a cloud of frustration hovering over his squad in recent days.

"Everybody is really disappointed because we thought we could be in a Cup final," he added. "We were doing the right things, even in the first game against Swansea we were on top and creating chances, so everyone is disappointed because it's an opportunity we have lost.

"They are professionals and know we have a difficult situation with a game each three days. It's good when you lose because you have another game in three days. Now we have another competition, another challenge and we can move forward quickly.

"As a top side you have to win when you play against a team in a lower division. Our pressure is because we are a top side. We will try to progress as much as we can in every competition."

Chelsea will be without the injured David Luiz and the suspended Eden Hazard as they continue their defence of the FA Cup against League One promotion contenders Brentford.
