Roy Hodgson has named a 24-man squad for England's friendly with Brazil at Wembley next week.

In what will be the national side's first match of 2013, Ashley Cole is in line to win his 100th cap - having missed the defeat to Sweden.

Jack Butland will provide competition to Joe Hart in goal, while a host of youngsters - Raheem Sterling among them - have been left out to focus on the Under-21 side.

Everton midfielder Leon Osman has retained his place in the squad following an impressive debut against Sweden last November, while Manchester United defender Chris Smalling returns to the squad for the first time in almost a year.

The match is the first in a series of Wembley fixtures to celebrate The FA's 150th anniversary year in 2013, with Republic Of Ireland and Scotland to follow in May and August respectively.

Midfielders: Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Leon Osman, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere.
