Terry to sit out Wigan match
Rafa Benitez has revealed that Chelsea captain John Terry is out of action for this weekend's game with Wigan as he has suffered an inflamed knee.
Terry has only just recovered from a knee injury which was caused when he slipped and crashed into Liverpool's Luis Suarez on November 11.
After missing the Club World Cup, Terry returned to action on January 12, but has now suffered an inflammation which will keep him out for the weekend.
"We have just two players injured: Romeu, who is a long term injury and now John Terry has an inflamed knee," Benitez told a press conference. "It is not serious, but he will not be available for tomorrow.
"The other players who were injured, Petr Cech and Demba Ba, are available. Demba was training yesterday with a mask, and we will make a decision."
