PSG home Beckham in €17,000-a-night suite

David Beckham will stay at the most prestigious suite in the most refined hotel in the French capital during his five-month stay at Paris Saint-Germain.
Beckham, who joined PSG until the end of the season on transfer deadline day, will stay in the 3,475-square-foot Imperial Suite at the Bristol Hotel while he is at the club.
Although usually costing up to €17,000 a night - breakfast included - the former England captain is likely to receive a significant discount, according to a source close to the French side. Beckham is also understood to have been given €30,000 a month towards his hotel bills by PSG.
The Bristol boasts a three-Michelin star chef and is based in central Paris, just a stone's throw from the Elysee Palace and the city's finest designer stores.
"Beckham's fans can breathe easily," said France Info, the rolling radio news station. "He'll have a comfortable time in Paris."
Le Monde, however, suggest that Beckham's team-mates could be jealous since they have had to put up with the slightly-less luxurious Intercontinental Hotel.
"Beckham is more equal than others," the newspaper said.
Beckham, who will donate his PSG salary to a children's charity, will also have at his disposal a chauffeur, bodyguards and a personal assistant provided by John Paul, the up-market conciergerie.
