Pepe Reina has described as 'speculation' reports linking him with Barcelona, with the Spain international insisting he is happy at Liverpool.

Reina's form has been a notch below his usual high standards at Anfield this term and reports have claimed he has become unsettled at the club.

Barcelona are on the lookout for a new keeper with Victor Valdes deciding not to sign a new contract and Reina's name has cropped up.

Reina did not categorically rule out a move, but the 34-year-old - who has a contract until 2014 - is in no rush to leave Liverpool.

"Any talk of me joining Barca is just speculation," Reina told Radio Marca. "I've got a contract at Liverpool and I'm very happy here.

"I am sure Victor Valdes with have his reasons for deciding to leave Barcelona. I respect him. He's my (Spain) team-mate and friend. He'll be leaving with his head held high, as he's given his all to Barcelona."

Reina's Reds team-mate Luis Suarez is another player who has been linked with a move to Spain, but the keeper cannot see the Uruguayan moving on any time soon.

"I can't see Luis Suarez playing in La Liga," Reina said. "I think he'll stay at Liverpool. He's a great player."
