Fabio Borini's agent has insisted the striker has no intention of leaving Liverpool.

The Italian has had a frustrating first season at Anfield, with a foot injury sidelining him for months at the start of the campaign and he is now set to miss the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder.

Borini has only one goal to his name in Liverpool colours and reports have suggested he could head for pastures new.

However, his agent claims the striker wants to forge a long career at Anfield.

"His future is definitely at Liverpool," Borini's agent Marco De Marchi is quoted as saying in the Sun.

"He's signed a long-term deal with one of the most glorious clubs in the world."

Liverpool face Zenit St Petersburg in the second leg of their Europa League clash on Thursday.
