Sergio Aguero has said he has no intention of seeking a move away from Manchester City.

Aguero, 24, has been a key stay for the Premier League champions since arriving from Atletico Madrid in 2011, but there have been persistent reports linking him with Real Madrid and Barcelona.

However, the Argentina star insists he is not looking to leave Eastlands.

"I'm very happy at City and I feel appreciated and loved here which means a lot to me," he told the club's official website. "It's been barely more than a year-and-a-half since I've arrived and sometimes I feel like I've been here for all my life. How could I forget that? More to the point, why would I want to forget that?"

He is also not giving up hope of reclaiming the Premier League title.

City are currently 12 points behind Manchester United, but Aguero believes the 4-0 FA Cup victory over Leeds United can spark a return to form.

"The boost of winning well against Leeds and getting the Southampton defeat out of our system was just what we needed," he said. "The chances of ending this championship in the best possible fashion have only improved, but we know what we are capable of and have done for a long time. This is a team that always goes for the win in every game."
