David Beckham has been included in Paris Saint-Germain's 20-man squad for the Champions League last-16 second leg tie with Valencia on Wednesday night.

PSG are aiming to make the quarter-final stage of the competition for the first time since 1995 and hold a 2-1 lead from the first leg.

Should Beckham make his Champions League debut for PSG, it would be the fourth different club he has played for in Europe's premier club competition, starting off with Manchester United before representing Real Madrid and AC Milan.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be absent from the PSG side through suspension after being sent off in the first leg and receiving a two-game European ban. Marco Verratti is also missing through suspension while Jeremy Menez does not make the tie due to injury.

The Ligue 1 leaders come into the game on the back of a disappointing defeat to Reims but manager Carlo Ancelotti is not planning to change his approach in Europe.

"I don't think so," he said. "Wednesday's match is important, that's true, but we've already prepared for it."
