Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is a summer target for two Russian clubs, his agent has said.

Bendtner, 25, is currently on loan at Juventus but has failed to make an impression in Serie A, starting only three games, and has suffered injury problems.

The Denmark international has now been linked with a move to either Anzhi Makhachkala or Zenit St Petersburg, and is also thought to be interesting Bundesliga duo Hamburg and Stuttgart.

"We've had contact several times with Russian teams," Bendtner's agent, Tom Brooks told Russian newspaper Izvestia.

"A large number of talented players have gone to Russia in recent years. If a solid proposal arrives, we will consider it."

Arsenal want to sell Bendtner as Arsene Wenger revamps his squad over the summer.

Earlier this month, he was banned from the Denmark national team for six months after it was confirmed that he would be charged with drink driving in Copenhagen. The Danish FA urged him to "think long and hard" about his future.
