Injured Walcott out of England qualifiers
Theo Walcott has been ruled out of England's World Cup qualifying double header with San Marino and Montenegro and is set to fly back to London for treatment on a groin injury.
The Arsenal forward was expected to play a key part for manager Roy Hodgson as the Three Lions look to reclaim top spot in Group H with back-to-back victories.
But Walcott is to make his way back to his club for treatment on a "minor hip/groin injury" that he suffered during training.
A statement on Arsenal's official website read: "Theo Walcott will be forced to miss out on England's games against San Marino and Montenegro due to a minor hip/groin injury.
"The Arsenal forward sustained the problem in training with the national team on Thursday and will fly back on Saturday to be assessed by the club's medical staff."
