Luca Toni has told his Fiorentina team-mate Stevan Jovetic to join a bigger club than Arsenal as he believes they are no better than the Viola.

Jovetic has caught the eye in Serie A this season, attracting interest from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City, and he is tipped for a big-money move in the summer.

The Montenegro international spoke of his desire on Tuesday to one day join the Gunners, however, Toni feels he is capable of playing at a higher level.

"I tell him to think carefully before leaving Florence, as there is an important project here," Toni told ANSA news agency.

"If he has to leave, then make it for a real top club. Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United fit that bill, but Arsenal are not better than Fiorentina."

Jovetic, who joined the Italian side in 2008 from Partizan for a fee of £8 million, has hit 12 goals in all competitions this season.
