Jose Mourinho has ruled out a return to Inter Milan next season, insisting he is likely to move to the Premier League when he leaves Real Madrid.

Mourinho is expected to leave the Bernabeu in the summer, with the Real boss making his intentions to return to England clear.

The former Chelsea manager is tipped to succeed Rafa Benitez at Stamford Bridge, although Real Madrid's fans are attempting to persuade Mourinho not to leave at the end of the season with a proposed protest march.

Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba, who faced Mourinho's Real in the Champions League defeat on Wednesday, added to speculation by claiming it would be the "best solution" for Chelsea to reappoint the 50-year-old.

When asked about the possibility of taking over Inter Milan, Mourinho said he favours England over Italy as his next move.

"I will certainly not come back next season, but one day I will return," he told Gazzetta dello Sport . "My heart leads me, and I want to go back to England. My next club will not be Inter."
