Borussia Dortmund have given Robert Lewandowski until May to decide his future plans or face staying at the club for one more year, kicker reports.

Lewandowski, 24, is contracted to Dortmund until 2014, but he has refused to commit beyond that date and could leave the German title holders at the end of the season. Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move to bring the striker to Old Trafford, and there has been reported interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Bayern Munich as well.

Dortmund, however, have told the Poland international and his agents Eurosports management that they will not be interested in listening to any offers after May.

"We have clearly positioned ourselves," Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc, 50, told kicker.

Some reports have claimed a deal with Bayern was all but done. However, the league leaders have kept quiet about their plans after a brief war of words with Dortmund.

Despite the fact he will have just a year remaining on his deal, Lewandowski will not come cheap as the club have put a €30 million price tag on him. "We hear there is interest," Zorc added. "But until now we have not received any offers."
