Terry champions Mourinho Chelsea return
Chelsea captain John Terry has added weight to the rumours of a return to Stamford Bridge for Jose Mourinho by hailing the Portuguese as "the best manager I've played under".
Mourinho's future at Real Madrid has been the subject of conjecture, with the ex-Chelsea boss' future to be decided in the summer.
It has been suggested that the coach is bound for a return to the Blues, having left the club in 2007 after winning two Premier League titles with the club.
While Terry is currently focused on performing to his best under interim manager Rafael Benitez, he said he holds Mourinho in high regard.
The defender told Sky Sports News: "He's the best manager I've played under at Chelsea by a long, long way. He has a contract at Madrid so it's disrespectful for me to speak about that.
"But he's loved by the fans and the players as well. We have to show Rafa respect until the end of the season, there's a job to do and we're all focused on that.
"But Jose Mourinho as a person? Absolutely fantastic."
