Terry not fazed by Chelsea future talk

John Terry has insisted he is in absolutely no rush to sort out his future at Chelsea.

The defender has been a mainstay of the Chelsea side for over a decade, but his status as an ever-present has shifted this season.

An injury early in the season set him back and he has failed to nail down a place in the side since Rafa Benitez's appointment towards the end of last year.

Terry has a further season to run on his contract, but it is far from clear as to whether he will be offered fresh terms or allowed to move on.

With Chelsea battling for a place in the top four, Terry's focus is on the remainder of the season and he will wait until the summer before thinking about his future

"I've got a year left at Chelsea after this," Terry said in the Evening Standard. "People have spoken about no new contract and this kind of thing but it's not even on the agenda at the moment.

"They may sit down with me once the season has finished and we'll start talking then.

"Whether it's a yes or a no I'll continue to give my very best until my contract finishes."
