David Silva is set to return to the Manchester City team for the first time since their derby win at Old Trafford when they host West Ham on Saturday.

The Spanish playmaker has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury sustained in the closing stages of City's 2-1 victory against Manchester United on April 8.

But manager Roberto Mancini has confirmed that Silva is fit to return, as is striker Sergio Aguero, an unused substitute in Sunday's 3-1 defeat at Tottenham who has not featured since going off at half-time in the 1-0 win over Wigan with a hamstring problem.

"I don't think we have injuries," Mancini said. "David is OK, Sergio [also]."

James Milner, who limped off at half-time at White Hart Lane, is also available, with Mancini adding: "Milner is OK. He trained yesterday."

Jack Rodwell, who has not played for the first team since early March but was on the bench for the Wigan win, could also come into contention. "We will see after the training session," Mancini said.

However, the Italian is less likely to include Micah Richards, whose only appearance since October came against Wigan. He criticised the Englishman's performance and believes he needs to build up his sharpness while playing for the club's junior sides. "He needs to play, he is not 100%," he said. "He [might go] to play for the reserves."

Mancini is expecting a physical test when his side encounter West Ham and striker Andy Carroll, who caused Manchester United problems in April's 2-2 draw at Upton Park.

He said: "I think West Ham have had a good season. They did very well. They showed this against United two weeks ago. It will be difficult - they are a physical team and Carroll is a strong striker."
