Arsene Wenger has closed the door on a summer departure for Paris Saint-Germain by insisting he will see out his contract at Arsenal - with reports saying he will have £60 million to spend on transfers this summer.

Wenger, 63, has been closely linked to the job which Carlo Ancelotti, 53, is widely expected to leave in the summer. However, while the Italian's future remains up in the air, Wenger has cut short speculation that he will soon be swapping the British capital for its French counterpart with still a year left on his deal at the Emirates Stadium.

"I'm preparing for the next match and next season with Arsenal," the Alsatian-born manager told the press following Arsenal's 1-1 Premier League draw with Manchester United on Sunday. "I've always seen my contracts through, and it's not at my age that I'm going to change."

Wenger's position had been called into question by a number of Arsenal supporters, frustrated at the club's perceived lack of investment in the side and the Frenchman's failure to add to the trophy cabinet since 2005.

However, L'Equipe reported that a late-season run of one defeat and nine wins in 13 matches has reassured both fans and majority shareholder Stan Kroenke, 65, who - according to the the French sports daily - will make available £60 million for Wenger to strengthen his squad this summer.
