Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez has refused to comment on the possibility of his captain John Terry making a return to the England team.

Terry, 32, retired from international football in September due to his Football Association charge and subsequent ban for racially abusing Queens Park Rangers' Anton Ferdinand.

However, recent reports have suggested that the defender is considering a return to Roy Hodgson's squad.

"That is not my business," Benitez said. "My business is to keep him as fit as possible for every game. I only speak to him about Chelsea."

Terry made back-to-back appearances for the first time since February after appearing in Sunday's 2-0 defeat of Swansea at Stamford Bridge.

Frank Lampard impressed after coming off the bench, setting up Oscar's opener before netting his 201st Chelsea goal from the penalty spot to move within one of the club record held by the watching Bobby Tambling.

"Frank is a great player," Benitez said. "I'm really pleased he's scored another goal and hopefully he can score five between now and the end of the season and he'll be much happier and we will be the same."
