Wigan set to lose Beausejour for FA Cup final
Wigan are set to be without wing-back Jean Beausejour for the FA Cup final and much of the relegation run-in.
The Chile international was stretchered off in their 3-2 win at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday with a hamstring injury.
He is set to miss the Premier League games against Swansea and Arsenal as well as the FA Cup clash with Manchester City at Wembley on Saturday.
"Jean is the negative," manager Roberto Martinez said. "He pulled his hamstring - a soft tissue problem in the left leg.
"We'll have to assess him but he doesn't look great. This sort of injury is normally 10 days but we'll see if we can get some magic hands on him."
Maynor Figueroa, the other player to have operated at left wing-back this season, is also out of the FA Cup final, along with centre-back Ivan Ramis, while Wigan hope that fellow defender Antolin Alcaraz can recover in time to feature at Wembley.
