Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has quashed rumours that Stevan Jovetic could leave in the summer, insisting the striker "is not on the market".

Jovetic, 23, has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal next season, although Juventus and Manchester City have also reportedly expressed interest in his signature.

Although Fiorentina confirmed last week that Jovetic "wants a new experience" and claimed they would not stand in the way of a move, the club have changed their stance on the Montenegro international.

Prade revealed to Lega-Calcio that Fiorentina have not received a bid from Juventus for the player, while Jovetic has told the club he has no intentions of leaving.

"We have been clear about Jovetic. He is not on the market," Prade said. "There is a word given to the boy by the president: at the end of the season they would talk together, but those are the conditions, otherwise we keep him happy.

"There has been no bid [from Juventus], only a meeting between the president and the agent Cognigni Ramadani. Jovetic did not say he would move. It is a discussion between him and the president."

Prade also shot down rumours that Fiorentina have made a play for Palermo midfielder Josip Ilicic.

"We have not started talking about Ilicic," Prade added. "He is strong, but we never had anything to do with him."

Fiorentina have been linked with Bayern Munich's Mario Gomez, Galatasaray's Burak Yilmaz and Sevilla's Alvaro Negredo.
