Lyon playmaker Yoann Gourcuff has issued a 'come and get me' plea to Arsenal after admitting he is ready to move on from his current club.

Arsene Wenger is understood to be a big fan of the 26-year-old, who has had a disappointing three years at the Ligue 1 side, making just 49 appearances since a £19 million move from Bordeaux.

With fragile finances not helped by his hefty £80,000 a week wages, the club would likely listen to offers. So, it seems, would Gourcuff.

"If clubs are interested and interesting, I don't close the door on anything at all," the former AC Milan player, who has two years left on his OL deal, told Ouest France.

"The most important thing is to play, but I have to look at the sporting project, whether they count on me, the means that we're given to succeed, and if they have clear ideas which don't change after a defeat.

"I have a certain idea of football, a philosophy on how to play, I know in which conditions I can flourish and in which I can't. That's what counts most even if the economic aspect also comes into the equation."
