Cesc coy on Utd & Arsenal talk
Arsenal and Manchester United target Cesc Fabregas has insisted his future lies in the hands of Barcelona.
Fabregas returned to his boyhood club Barcelona from Arsenal in 2011, but has struggled to secure a regular start in his favoured central midfield role and is set to hold talks with coach Tito Vilanova.
It has been widely reported that he could exit the Catalan giants this summer, with Arsenal and United set to do battle for his signature. The terms of Fabregas' deal when he joined Barca mean Arsenal have first refusal if he is made available for transfer, while it has been claimed United have made the Spain international their top summer target.
Fabregas, who has said little about his future in recent weeks, has insisted he will remain committed to Barca unless the club tell him he can go.
"I have not opened my mouth once," Fabregas told Marca. "It has taken a lot for me to get where I am and I am not thinking about throwing it all away for nothing.
"If they (Barcelona) said that they didn't want me that would be another thing, what I really want is to triumph at Barca. That has been dream since I was small.
"The important thing in life is to accept the good and also bad moments when they happen.
"Barcelona is my home, I have always dreamed of triumphing here.
"Up until now everything has gone well. The important thing is to work and work so that you enjoy it more than you don't."
