Reina future at Liverpool, says agent
The agent of Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has insisted his client will not leave the club this summer.
Reina has regularly discussed a possible return to Barcelona, who he left to join Villarreal in 2002, a switch to Serie A with Napoli to be reunited with Rafa Benitez and also with a move to London with Arsenal. But his representative, Manuel Garcia Quilon, says the 30-year-old will not be going anywhere.
"Reina has been clear in recent days his thoughts, his future is still at Liverpool," Quilon told tuttomercatoweb.com. "At the moment there are no chances for Napoli and Barcelona.
"Pepe considers [Rafael] Benitez a great coach but his future will still be at Anfield."
Benitez signed Reina for Liverpool in 2005 and since then he has made 394 appearances for the Anfield club, winning the Champions League, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.
