Arsenal keeping tabs on Melgarejo

Arsenal are keeping tabs on Benfica defender Lorenzo Melgarejo, the player's agent has revealed.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has a reported £70 million to spend on new signings this summer as he looks to build a team capable of challenging for the Premier League title.
And chief executive Ivan Gazidis insisted on Tuesday that Wenger will be using that money over the coming months to purchase top-class talent.
Melgarejo, who is valued at £5m, is also attracting interest from Turkish club Fenerbahce, however, the Paraguay international's representative, Juan Gabriel Appleyard, says neither side have yet to make an offer.
"Arsenal and Fenerbahce have enquired about Melgarejo. But so far there has been nothing concrete," Appleyard told Radio Monumental.
Melgarejo joined Benfica from Paraguayan side Independiente F.B.C. in 2011 and featured in the Eagles' Europa League final defeat to Chelsea last season.
