Cabaye hints at Monaco move
Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye has indicated that he could join newly-promoted Monaco, saying the club's attempts to compete for the Ligue 1 title "might interest everyone".
Speculation has suggested that France international Cabaye is a target for Monaco coach Claudio Ranieri, leading to team-mate Massadio Haidara urging him to stay with the Magpies.
The principality club, Ligue 2 champions last season, are backed by Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev and have already signed Radamel Falcao, Joao Moutinho, James Rodriguez and Ricardo Carvalho.
"Monaco have the means to build a strong team," the Sun quoted Cabaye as saying. "It might interest everyone."
Cabaye has previously hinted at a move to Premier League champions Manchester United, with the playmaker saying he would be open to a transfer as it would be "an interesting challenge."
