AVB: Spurs have resolved not to sell Bale
Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is confident Gareth Bale "is not going to leave the club", insisting chairman Daniel Levy has given assurances that no sale will take place this summer.
Bale has been heavily linked with Real Madrid in recent weeks, with the Liga giants making no secret of their ambition to lure the Wales international to the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Villas-Boas is adament the winger will remain at White Hart Lane next season amid the transfer speculation.
"We have the pledge of the chairman that Bale is not going to leave the club," Villas-Boas is quoted as saying in Spanish newspaper Marca.
Real have previously hinted that they would be willing to spend as much as £100 million on signing Bale from Spurs.
