Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has admitted he will not be satisfied until he becomes the squad's most decorated player.

Fresh off reclaiming the Premier League title with the Red Devils, the 34-year-old Ferdinand is eyeing more success at Old Trafford, hoping to catch, and then overtake some of the club's biggest names as an all-time title record holder.

However, for Ferdinand to reach that mark, he will have to overtake one of his current team-mates, club legend and the evergreen Ryan Giggs, who has made over 900 appearances for the club, claiming 32 major honours along the way.

But instead of being overawed by Giggs' achievements, Ferdinand is using the former Welsh international as a benchmark for his own targets.

"I'm not happy with what I have won, not when I can look around at people in the changing room and know they have got more than me," Ferdinand told the club's official website.

"You always aim for the people above. That is what I did the day I walked through the door. I looked around and saw people with three, four or five titles and thought 'I want to have that'.

"You set yourself targets all the time. I am never going to sit in that changing room and think 'I am happy with what I have done'."
