Liverpool will receive around £4 million if Tom Ince, a target for Cardiff and Swansea, leaves Blackpool this summer.

The Reds will reap the rewards of a 50 per cent sell-on clause if Ince, 21, who left Anfield for the Tangerines in 2011, moves on, according to the Daily Mirror.

The England Under-21 international, who caught the eye with impressive displays last season, has attracted interest from both the top flight's Welsh clubs.

Cardiff had looked Ince's most likely destination after the Bluebirds had an £8 million bid accepted by Blackpool, but Swansea have now offered a similar amount.

Blackpool manager Paul Ince revealed at the weekend that the bidding war for his son was under way.

"I think it's 50/50 at the moment," he said. "It's a tricky one for me. Ideally, you want your son to be playing in the Premier League - but you also want him to be playing for you."
