Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent believes that the Sweden striker and Edinson Cavani would make "a great duo" for Paris Saint-Germain.

Napoli forward Cavani is being strongly linked with a move to the Ligue 1 champions, and French paper L'Equipe reported on Friday that PSG sporting director Leonardo had met Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis for talks in Rome on Thursday.

The paper suggested Cavani, 26, would be offered a five-year contract worth an annual €10 million if a move could be agreed.

Ibrahimovic's representative, Mino Raiola, told Gazzetta dello Sport the €63 million release clause in Cavani's contract could prove a major stumbling block in negotiations - but that PSG would have one of the most potent partnerships in football were they to bring the striker to the Parc des Princes.

"Certainly, Cavani and Ibra would form a great duo, although even I could play with Zlatan - he's the best," Raiola said. "For me, Cavani to PSG looks difficult. There is a serious problem because of the clause."

However, reports in France suggest PSG are willing to meet Napoli's asking price in contrast to Chelsea and Real Madrid, the other clubs cited as potential destinations for Cavani.

A further meeting between Leonardo and De Laurentiis is planned early next week, with reports claiming PSG will table a bid of €60 million or €62 million.

Sky Italia suggested on Thursday, however, that the Serie A outfit would now seek €70 million in order to cover their contractual obligations to Cavani's former club Palermo, who will receive a percentage of the transfer fee.
