Chelsea make Bruma offer - agent
The agent of Sporting Lisbon winger Bruma has confirmed Chelsea and Galatasaray have both made offers to sign the highly-rated youngster, who is reportedly eager to secure a move abroad.
Bruma is in high demand after scoring five goals for Portugal in the Under-20 World Cup to round off a breakthrough season in Lisbon.
The 18-year-old is reportedly refusing to train with his club as speculation grows he is headed for a move away from the Portuguese side.
Bruma has consulted FIFA as he attempts to have his current contract with Sporting, which has one year remaining, torn up.
His agent, Catio Balde, told Antena 1 that Chelsea and Galatasaray have tabled €8 million offers, although that figure is expected to increase as the bidding war evolves.
"I was in charge of presenting offers to Sporting," Balde said. "There are offers from foreign clubs, from Chelsea and from Galatasaray, worth €8 million, that could reach €12 million.
"From this moment on, considering that he is a highly coveted player, it is possible that more offers will arrive, because I know that several clubs were waiting for the best moment to make a move. Right now, Bruma's mind is not on Sporting."
