Bullish Mourinho warns rivals
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has warned the club's rivals he is 'better' coach than when in his first stint in charge he took the club to an era of dominance.
First joining Chelsea in 2004, Mourinho broke the club's long trophy drought by winning the Premier League crown in his first full season, before repeating the feat the following season, while adding two league cups, FA Cup triumph and the Community Shield trophy.
Leaving Stamford Bridge in 2007 has not slowed the Portuguese manager, claiming Serie A titles with Inter Milan, a La Liga triumph with Real Madrid, a host of domestic cups with both clubs and the Champions League trophy with Inter in his final season with the Italian giants.
And now the 50-year-old is back in the Premier League, Mourinho believes he has more to offer the club and its fans.
"I think I am better now because my job is the kind of job where experience means a lot," he told reporters.
"After Chelsea I went around Europe and had two years in Italy, three years in Spain, so I have more football culture than I did before.
"So I think I am in better condition than before. Some more white hairs, in my case, is a good sign, because it shows I learn more.
"Until the first defeat comes, I am happy. But it is up to my team to help me, support me and try to get good results for the club."
