Moyes cool on Thiago talk
David Moyes has said Manchester United are on track with their plans to make summer signings.
The Premier League champions have already tied up two deals, with Wilfried Zaha's move from Crystal Palace arranged in January and Uruguayan full-back Guillermo Varela's transfer from Penarol announced last month.
However, they have yet to bring anyone in since Moyes' reign officially began.
It appears Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara, reported to have been wanted by Moyes, is instead set for a reunion with his old manager Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich - but the United manager insisted: "I never said at any time that he was [a target]."
Moyes, who has had an offer for left-back Leighton Baines rejected by his former club Everton, said he was not worried by the delay in adding to his squad.
"We're on track with targets that we are chasing at this moment in time," he told a press conference in Bangkok, reported on United's official website. "There are people we are actively chasing, and we're happy with how things are going."
United have begun their pre-season tour of Asia and Australia in Thailand, and will play their first game under Moyes against a Singha All-Star XI on Saturday.
