Ramirez open to Inter switch

Gaston Ramirez's agent is refusing to rule out the prospect the Southampton star could return to Serie A with Inter Milan.
Ramirez, 22, joined Southampton from Bologna last summer for a reported £12 million fee but both Tuttomercatoweb and the Daily Mirror have recently claimed Inter have opened talks over the Uruguay international.
Pablo Betancourt, the player's agent, believes there is truth to the speculation.
"I don't think they're just rumours, since even in England they're calling me up and asking about Inter's interest," he told Ilsussidiario.net.
Betancourt said he had not been in contact with Inter but added: "I am convinced that anything can be done if the money is there to do it. The English club has spent a lot to sign Ramirez, so if Inter want him he'll cost them a significant sum."
He suggested Ramirez would be open to the switch.
"Italy remains in his heart and Inter are a great team, but I don't like to talk about things that are not concrete," he said. "If an offer comes in, we'll consider it."
Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino said last month he expected Ramirez to stay at St Mary's.
