Inter Milan will turn their attention to new Chelsea signing Wallace after the path to Napoli's Juan Zuniga turned cold.

Inter are in the market for a wing-back who can fit into coach Walter Mazzarri's standard 3-5-2 system and while Zuniga was the preferred choice, his show of faith to Napoli this week has convinced the Nerazzurri to look elsewhere.

Wallace has emerged as an ideal alternative and, given the strong bond which continues to thrive between Blues' coach Jose Mourinho and his former club, a mutually beneficial deal could be in the offing.

The 19-year-old, whose full name is Wallace Oliveira dos Santos, put pen-to-paper at Stamford Bridge in December but remained at Fluminense for the rest of the season as his lack of international appearances precluded him from receiving a work permit in England.

Shipping him out on loan for a year to increase the likelihood of him gaining the necessary caps or match experience to appear in the Premier League is the Blues' preferred solution and Inter could provide him with the perfect home.

"He should end up in Italy," said Federico Moraes, the player's agent to FCInterNews TV. "My assistants are in London right now and there should be a meeting to discuss Wallace's future. Chelsea are flying [to the USA] and he's not just going to stay in London doing nothing.

"If [Inter] want him, then I think a deal can be done in an instant."

Roma and Napoli are also reportedly interested in taking the Brazilian on loan.
