Hilario signs new one-year Chelsea deal

Henrique Hilario has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal at Chelsea to tie himself down to a seventh season at Stamford Bridge.

The 37-year-old was brought to the club by Jose Mourinho during the manager's first spell in charge at Chelsea, but has only featured in 39 games.

Hilario was featured on Chelsea's list of released players following the 2012-13 season but was part of the 25-man squad that toured the USA.

"It feels really good to sign a new contract for another year at the club, I'm very proud," Hilario said.

"I'm really pleased to be part of this great squad and I'm looking forward to working once again with Jose Mourinho."
