Ex-Arsenal owner regrets Kroenke sale
Arsenal honorary vice-president Lady Bracewell-Smith has once again expressed her disappointment with the board, admitting she "regrets" selling her shares in the club to Stan Kroenke.
Kroenke, who became a controlling shareholder at the Emirates after purchasing Bracewell-Smith's stake in 2011, has come under significant criticism over the summer due to Arsenal's inactivity in the transfer market.
Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa led Bracewell-Smith to hit out at the majority owner, continuing her suggestions from last year that the American has no passion for Arsenal.
She tweeted: "What a shame the board recommended a Kroenke takeover and paid Rothchilds 3m fee.
"And how deeply I regret selling to Kroenke. #AFC."
Bracewell-Smith then added: "Bring David Dein and give Usmanov representation on the board if we are to have success going forward. #AFC."
The tweets have since been deleted from her account.
