Liverpool defender Daniel Agger insists he will snub any offers from Barcelona unless the club want to sell him.

Agger has previously suggested he would be open to an approach from Barca, saying: "There is one club who would make it very difficult for me to stay at Anfield. Barcelona would be great, because they are the best in the world."

However, he has now moved to draw a line under speculation about a switch to the reigning La Liga champions, pledging his future to Liverpool.

"Barcelona are obviously a big club, but I have never thought about leaving Liverpool, unless they want to sell," Agger told Spanish newspaper Sport.

"Everyone at the club is an integral part of my life - I even have a YNWA [You'll Never Walk Alone] tattoo! Frankly I don't mind if we don't finish in the top four, I love the club."

Agger has three years left on his current deal at Anfield having been at the club since moving from Brondby in 2006.

The defender's public declaration of commitment was timely, with fellow centre-back Sebastian Coates set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a suspected cruciate ligament injury.
