Spurs sign Lamela and Eriksen

Tottenham followed their club recorded-breaking signing of Erik Lamela and also Erik Chriches on Friday by confirming the signing of Christian Eriksen from Ajax late in the evening.
Roma made the first move in announcing the €30 million deal for Lamela on Wednesday, stating that the transfer could rise by another €5 million, subject to bonuses.
And Spurs followed suit on Friday, revealing the news via their official Twitter account.

Lamela, 21, is viewed as a direct replacement for Bale, who looks set to join Madrid for a world-record transfer fee.
Spurs sped up negotiations with Lamela after seeing Chelsea hijack their attempt to sign Willian from Anzhi Makhachkala.
Lamela said on Wednesday: "I hope to do well at Tottenham. I'd like to thank and say goodbye to the [Roma] fans, who always treated me well. I send them all a big hug and they will always have a place in my heart."
Lamela came through the ranks at River Plate before joining Roma in 2011, where he made a total of 67 appearances and scored 21 goals.
Tottenham confirmed the news just hours after announcing the signing of centre-back Vlad Chiriches from Steaua Bucharest, costing a reported £8.1 million.
They then went on to announce the signing of Eriksen at 9pm, with the deal for the Denmark international thought to be worth around £11.5 million. He won the Eredivisie title in three consecutive seasons with Ajax.
