Outspoken Liverpool winger Albert Riera has launched another stinging attack on the club's management, this time claiming that they have not done enough to keep him.

Riera, who was suspended for three days in March after describing Liverpool as a "sinking ship", has not let up in his relentless criticism, maintaining the board should have stepped in to make him feel wanted at Anfield.

"I want to leave," he told the Daily Mirror. "English clubs are run differently to Spanish clubs. In England you have a manager at the club and the board of the club has done nothing for me.

"The club has not fought for me. I do not want to quarrel, but if a club doesn't fight for you, it means they don't want you. I do not want to be in a place where I am not wanted."

Meanwhile, Spanish club Atletico Bilbao have agreed a permanent deal for Liverpool's Mikel San Jose after he impressed in a loan spell at the club. The defender, who failed to make a single senior appearance for Liverpool, is tied to Bilbao until 2015.
